Hardwood rods are used inside transformers where a strong, non-conductive support or spacer is needed. Ours are turned from seasoned hardwood to a round, straight finish and are available in six standard diameters.

Common questions
What diameters are available?
6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 mm as standard. Other diameters on request.
What is the maximum length?
Up to about 2 metres (7 feet). We cut to shorter lengths on request.
Is the wood seasoned?
Yes. We use seasoned hardwood so the rods stay straight and do not shrink or crack after fitting.
